Today in class we discussed these examples.
(a+b)2=a2+2ab+b2
(a-b)=a2 – 2ab+b2
a2-b2=2ab+(a-b)2
Here is my take on them:
The large square is made up of squares b&a, both with an area of a2&b2. There are also two rectangels with sides a&b (2ab).
